Thanks for your comment. Sorry to hear that the podcast came across as somber. I can’t remember anything at all from last March (that was before rehab), but I can’t imagine I wanted to bring anyone down with the music.

For what it’s worth I rarely have the podcasts planned out in advance. I often start with a list of songs I want to play (or in some cases a theme), but in most cases the music itself dictates the direction. I may start out the podcast with a set plan, but very often the finished product is far from what I expected when I started.

Thanks for your comments and I hope the other podcasts don’t bum you out. In case they do, I have a friend in the former Soviet Union who can get his hands on some cheap but authentic Wellbutrin.

I found this podcast, to be very somber. It almost made me wish that Scrappy would identify each podcast with some type of descriptor, so that we know what we are in for.
Lively, festive, thoughtful….cheerless….those types of words.

do I demand too much?

How do I get the playlist for this podcasts? I want to know who was singing the song before Patti Smith. That song was stuck in my head all weekend after Mom and Dad passed away… this version is sweet.

It’s all good. I have already subscribed and now see how I can put it in a dvd to play downstairs. I am a bit behind… just hearing #6…. Lennon. I can’t applaud you enough for this. How fun and inspiring and awesome. Look forward to hearing #7 and Paul Sturm, one of our favorite skits….

Absolutely Roxanne, there is a link under the player that says “download”. Right-click on the link and select “Save Link As”, and it will save the file as an MP3. If you use iTunes, you can also press the “Subscribe” button on the right-hand navigation and it will open the podcast in iTunes, which means it’s saved to your computer.

Does that all make sense?
